CAOS is an non-audition, amateur choir and orchestra society that performs a range of classical repertoire at least twice year to a high standard. We like to make rehearsals and concerts as enjoyable as possible and have plenty of regular socials to attend throughout the year, perfect for getting to know other fellow musicians.

​We rehearse at St. Chrysostom's Church, Anson Road (directions can be found here), every Tuesday during university term time. 18:00 - 20:00 for the Choir and 20:00 - 22:15 for the Orchestra. There’s an informal social in Hulme Hall bar every Tuesday after rehearsals too.

 

Our rehearsals are relaxed and informal, but this doesn't mean we aren't serious about our music. We welcome members joining at any point during the year, even if you've never sung before or it's just been a while since you played your instrument!
