About Us
CAOS is an un-auditioned amateur society that performs at least twice year to an incredibly high standard. We make rehearsals and concerts as enjoyable as possible and have plenty of regular socials to attend throughout the year, perfect for getting to know other fellow musicians.
This term, we are rehearsing at St. Chrysostom's Church, Anson Road, every Tuesday during university term time. Normal rehearsal times are 18:00 - 20:00 for the Choir and 20:15 - 22:15 for the Orchestra. There’s an informal social in the Hulme Hall bar every Tuesday after rehearsals too, just down the road.
Our rehearsals are relaxed and informal, but this doesn't mean we aren't serious about our music. We welcome members joining at any point during the year, even if you've never sung before or it's just been a while since you played your instrument!
